Learn how to manage your profile, understand account status, view history, and update settings.

Understanding Your Dashboard

Your account dashboard is your central hub for managing your trading account. Here's what you'll find:

Account Overview

View your account balance, equity, open P&L, and account status at a glance.

Progress Tracking

Monitor your progress toward profit targets, trading days, and risk limits.

Quick Actions

Access key functions like requesting payouts, updating profile, and viewing statements.

Notifications

Stay informed about account updates, rule changes, and important announcements.

Managing Your Profile

Updating Personal Information

To update your profile information:

  1. Navigate to "Profile" or "Account Settings" in your dashboard
  2. Click "Edit" on the information you want to update
  3. Make your changes and click "Save"
  4. Some changes may require verification (e.g., email address)

Note: Some information (like name) may require support assistance to change for security reasons.

Changing Your Password

To change your account password:

  1. Go to "Security Settings" or "Change Password"
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters, mix of letters and numbers)
  4. Confirm your new password
  5. Click "Update Password"

Security Tip: Use a strong, unique password and don't share it with anyone. Consider enabling two-factor authentication if available.

Updating Email Address

To change your email address:

  • Go to "Profile" → "Email Settings"
  • Enter your new email address
  • Verify the new email by clicking the confirmation link sent to the new address
  • Your old email will receive a notification of the change

Understanding Account Status

Your account can have different statuses that affect your ability to trade and access features:

A

Active

Your account is fully operational. You can trade, access all features, and request payouts (if eligible).

P

Pending

Your account is being set up or provisioned. Wait a few minutes and refresh. Trading is not yet available.

F

Failed

Your account has violated trading rules or exceeded loss limits. Trading is disabled. You may need to purchase a new evaluation or contact support.

AO

Admin Only

Your account requires administrative review. Trading may be restricted. Contact support to resolve the issue.

S

Suspended

Your account has been temporarily suspended. Check your email for details and contact support for resolution.

Viewing Account History

Trading History

Access your trading history to review:

  • All executed trades with timestamps
  • Open and closed positions
  • Profit and loss for each trade
  • Commission and fees
  • Export data for your records

Payout History

View your payout request history:

  • All payout requests with dates and amounts
  • Payout status (pending, approved, paid, failed)
  • Payment method used
  • Transaction IDs and confirmations

Account Statements

Generate and download account statements:

  • Monthly or custom date range statements
  • PDF format for easy sharing
  • Includes all trades, fees, and account activity
  • Useful for tax purposes and record keeping

Account Settings & Preferences

Notification Preferences

Manage how you receive notifications:

  • Email notifications for account updates
  • Profit target achievement alerts
  • Payout status updates
  • Important rule changes and announcements

Display Preferences

Customize your dashboard display:

  • Time zone settings
  • Currency display format
  • Chart preferences
  • Default views and layouts

Security Settings

Enhance your account security:

  • Two-factor authentication (if available)
  • Login history and active sessions
  • Security alerts and notifications
  • Password strength requirements

Account Resets

Evaluation Account Resets

If your evaluation account fails, you may be eligible for a reset:

  • Resets are typically available for evaluation accounts only
  • You may need to purchase a new evaluation or use reset credits
  • Resets restore your account to initial balance and reset all progress
  • Check your dashboard for reset eligibility and options

Performance Account Resets

Performance Account resets are limited:

  • Resets may not be available for Performance Accounts
  • Contact support to discuss reset options if your account fails
  • You may need to purchase a new evaluation to continue trading

Upgrading Your Account

Evaluation to Performance

After successfully completing your evaluation:

  1. You'll receive an email notification confirming your success
  2. Your Performance Account will be automatically provisioned
  3. You'll receive new Rithmic credentials for your Performance Account
  4. You can begin trading with real firm capital

Account Size Upgrades

To upgrade to a larger account size:

  • Complete your current evaluation or performance account
  • Purchase a new evaluation at the desired account size
  • Or contact support to discuss upgrade options for existing accounts

Account Management Best Practices

  • Regular Monitoring: Check your dashboard regularly to stay informed about account status and progress
  • Keep Information Updated: Ensure your email, phone, and address are current for important communications
  • Review Statements: Regularly review your trading history and statements for accuracy
  • Secure Your Account: Use strong passwords and enable security features when available
  • Stay Informed: Read emails and notifications to stay updated on rule changes and account updates
